The picturesque, wooden Boathouse Cafe at Bawdsey Quay is right at the mouth of the River Deben, with breathtaking views from its verandah. Our home cooked and locally sourced food includes soups, salads and sandwiches, and a wide range of coffees and teas. All of our cakes and scones are baked on the premises and our jam is often made with fruit scrumped from the hedgerows.
